When viewing the Live Leaderboard, you will notice there are two versions: Global Leaderboard and the Facebook Leaderboard.
We know it's always a lot more fun beating your friends in these friendly competitions, so get your best smack talk lines ready and go get 'em!
Don't see many friends on your FB leaderboard? Simply invite them to play by sharing your unique referral link, located in your account profile page (MORE section), or easily share a specific tournament from the UPCOMING section
Global Leaderboard:
this is where you rank in a tournament amongst ALL others who entered the tournament.
Facebook Leaderboard:
this is where you rank in a tournament amongst ONLY your friends you're connected with on Facebook
Pick Em tournaments are the most frequently used game format because it is very simple to play and allows for everybody to engage in the competition to win epic experiences, all while giving back and doing good! Every tournament will have a "Live" date, which is when the real-life games begin and your score will begin to accumulate.
Each correct match up pick = 10 Points
Boost Points:
- For NFL Tournaments:
- Five (5) correct winners = 10 Bonus Points
- Ten (10) correct winners = 30 Bonus Points
- ALL correct winners = 50 Bonus Points
- You will only be awarded bonus points at each threshold (5, 10, ALL) you pass.
- Ex: 12 of 16 correct picks will result in 30 Bonus Points
- For NBA Tournaments:
- Eight (8) correct winners = 15 Bonus Points
- Fourteen (14) correct winners = 20 Bonus Points
- Eighteen (18) correct winners = 25 Bonus Points
- ALL correct winners = 50 Bonus Points
- You will only be awarded bonus points at each threshold (8, 14, 18, ALL) you pass.
- Ex: 19 correct picks will result in 25 Bonus Points
- EXAMPLE: If you’ve correctly chosen 16 winners in an NBA Pick Em, your score will be 180 Points (10 Points x 16 Winning Answers + 20 Bonus Points). You've earned 20 bonus points because you picked AT LEAST 14 winners. Make sense? Great!
The last question for every Pick Em tournament will ask about a score prediction, either total points between two teams or the number of pionts scored by one specific team. The closer you are to the actual exact outcome, the more points you earn. If you're way off, you could potentially LOSE points!
Here’s the final prediction points breakdown:
- Exactly right? (Rockstar Status!) = 30 Points
- Off by 1 Point = 29 Points
- Off by 2 Points = 28 Points
- Off by 3 Points = 27 Points
- Off by 4 Points = 26 Points
- And so on and so forth….
- Off by 29 Points = 1 Point
- Off by 30 Points = 0 Points
- Off by 31 Points = minus 1 Points (-1)
- Off by 32 Points = minus 2 Points (-2)
- And so on and so forth…..
- Off by 45 or more? Cmon man! = minus 15 Points (-15)
